Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and if you’re anything like us, you’re looking for ways to make the holiday just a little easier. Thankfully, Jessica Pyles, Market Leader for City Barbecue in the area, has some mouth-watering deals and offers ready to make your holiday as stress-free (and delicious!) as possible.

“We pride ourselves on bringing together all the classic barbecue styles,” Pyles shares. “At City Barbecue, you can find a bit of everything—Memphis ribs, Alabama white sauce, Carolina-style pork. No need to settle; we have it all!”

City Barbecue has grown from its humble beginnings in Ohio, where founder Rick Malir, inspired by his Kansas City roots, set out to master barbecue. “Our goal wasn’t to create an Ohio-style barbecue,” Pyles laughs, “because who needs that? Instead, we’re all about bringing the best barbecue flavors from across the country to your plate.”

Sizzling Thanksgiving Specials

For those wanting to skip the hassle of cooking a turkey, City Barbecue offers a holiday menu perfect for feeding family and friends. “Our smoked meats, especially the brisket and pork, are always fan favorites,” Pyles says. “But we also have homemade sides, made fresh daily, that really complete the meal.”

The Small Meal feeds four to six people and features a quarter boneless ham or half turkey breast, two housemade sides (1 quart each) and 12 buns. The Medium Meal includes a half boneless ham or whole turkey breast, two housemade sides (1.5 quarts each) and 12 buns. The Large Meal features an entire boneless ham, whole turkey or brisket, two housemade sides (one pan each) and 24 buns. It’s also the perfect time to get sweet potato casserole and apple cobbler, available only during the holidays.

Giving Back to the Community

Pyles also highlights City Barbecue’s commitment to supporting local food banks and nonprofits. “Each restaurant has a designated food rescue mission,” she explains. “At the end of each day, any leftover items are donated to shelters. It’s all about making sure that good food goes to good use.”

Beyond food donations, City Barbecue supports local fundraising efforts. “If you’re a nonprofit looking to raise funds, we’re here to help,” Pyles says. “We give back 20% of sales on specific days and provide tools to promote the event on social media.”

So, suppose you’re gearing up for Thanksgiving and want to support local businesses while enjoying a top-tier barbecue. In that case, City Barbecue is ready with a spread that’ll make your holiday unforgettable.
